Birds Eye Fish Fingers Advert - Stop at the Birds Eye Shop
An amazing entertainer!
One of the greatest episodes of this great series. I can’t help but weep over the nostalgia.
Still and will always be the best puppet 🎥 ever made!
I love his singing
He was great I listen every day and never get tired of literally ing over a nd over the greatest
Joseph Cotten narrating great voice
The people who lived then are now gone, including the STARS, sharing the same end as the little people
ruclips.net/video/TuhVlo3AHVQ/видео.html you will find a advert for HB Irish Ice Cream same as Walls in England.
Those 30s musical revues are fun to watch . Talk about doing stuff to just look good , I’m here for it!
Stunning that so little time was devoted to the Marx Brothers, one of the most hilarious comedy teams of all time.
Rita MorEEno? Lol
Errol is great. I thought with intro a segment would be on Barrymore.
Very complex game
Very complex game
I grew up watching these westerns. It helped to inform our lives, to be courageous, good and polite to women like a real cowboy hero.
Born in 1959, what was great about the 60s and 70s was that many of the greats of the 30s 40s and 50s were still around and often appeared on television… During the Academy Awards and got the impression that everybody was still alive even some of the giants from the silent film era… There was a sense of immortality even back then.
Birdseye is American haha not English
They can't decide if it's breadcrums or batter seems they want people to believe they get both.
Did you deliberately STRESS this video in order to make it look old?? I've seen older movies that weren't half this stressed. ;-(
EXCELLENT
Was the first shot of New Road flooding for the umpteenth time?
8:10 I saw Tom Graveney. Still wondering why so often he was dropped from England Test team .
You know what I often miss saying "Hello, who is it?" when the non-caller ID phone would ring, we would fight to be the first one to answer it, even if we knew it wasn't for any of us. But I always hated when one of us kids would answer the phone and it would be for one of us and my mom would ask "Who is it?" I don't know why that always bugged me. I would always have thought "I mean if the call isn't for you and I am still on the phone then maybe don't worry about it?!" I know, I know... I was a kid.
I love cornettos, in fact I became Italian so I could get one free.
I truly enjoyed the serial cliffhangers of the 1930s, but sadly I didn't see too many actors that took part in them here.
Exactly!!!!🥰
Grace Kelly was good, but in 1954, Judy Garland gave the best performance. Judy was also nominated in 1961 for supporting, but Rita Moreno took it. Close call for me.
Grace only won because she was due to go off to become a princess ... as Groucho said about Garland not winning 'the greatest robberty since Brinx' ...
Amazingly candid approach - very enjoyable... That Shirley Temple segment - looking lost with the natives!
I think he was on tv for years. I think he had programmes about country stuff,in the 60's.
Ahhh, white American history!
I was introduced to this great Era by my dad who was born in 1930 and loved everything Hollywood related, the stars, the films, the clothes and the sets and I caught the bug quite early on and still love these old films better than todays offerings...
This was really nice to see. A nice movie called Hollywood. Cantina has a lot of stars in it too.
As a kid I lived in the county of Rutland (GB). The village cricket ground was just across the field from my parents house...so when there was a cricket match there I always went and watched.Around 4.30 pm all the cricketers went down to the village hall for tea...where my mother and a few othere ladys helped...after tea the cricketers would go back to the cricket field to finish the match. After the match had ended all the men went down to the local pub...the george and draggon...either to drown their sorrows or celerbrate the win.. Happy days back in the 1950´s.
The world's greatest entertainer. That's questionable. The most unique I'll give you that.
One man's pleasure, is another one's misery. This is the perfect example.
Joseph Cotton one of my favorites!
Yes, I miss good television shows.
Hurray for Hollyweird 🥴
What a great documentary. Missing this cricket .
You mean cricket as it used to be?
@@martm216 Yes
@@martm216 Yes
Laurel and Hardy were not mentioned once.
Thats where the saying " Thats a real Doozey " comes from.....!
That William Claude Dukenfield was one of the worlds greatest jugglers and trick shot pool players. Most folks today have NO IDEA who he is. Same as Harold lLoyd and Buster Keaton. Shoot , most people under forty couldn't tell you when WWII took place. Could be a very interesting future , folks....!!
Very informative series that covered most of the major studios and celeberities.Beautiful music.
It’s not great any more . They can’t even come up with a new idea
I remember seeing that commercial on TV. as a child. How the years pass by. 😅
I agree with Henry Fonda. Errol Flynn was truly a great actor.
Errol Flynn was the best of his generation, no doubt at all.
